Yes, a group of neighbours in Reservoir are coming together taking local climate action and we are just so excited to have them on board!
In the spirit of neighbours working together to take action on the climate emergency, community members in Reservoir have formed a location-based arm of NUCA, Reservoir Neighbours United for Climate Action (or RezNUCA). The group started meeting online during last year’s lockdowns and have slowly but surely been taking a range of actions, from coordinating events for last year’s School Strike for Climate, meeting with their local MP and community chalking. They are currently organising a series of climate and sustainability workshops at the Reservoir Neighbourhood House and other local venues – working to amplify the actions of existing groups in the local area and build on these strengths to mobilise climate awareness and action with fellow neighbours and strengthen community connections.
