You should bee into us…
because we want to help you become beekeepers within a supportive and safe environment.
We value above all else…
respect, kindness, and empathy.
We provide the local community with the opportunity to try their hand at beekeeping. If they like the experience and want to get their own hives they can join the collective and get support and share knowledge. This group is a collective run via a Facebook page.
We have environmental values; we manage hives to protect the community and native insects from swarms. We also aim to build community understanding around insect resilience from climate change.
We’re all about beekeeping! We want to advance beekeeping in the suburbs, keep bees and local insects safe, and work to pollinate local gardens and support beekeepers to keep their hives healthy.
beekeeping, keeping communication flowing in the group, and sharing current beekeeping info on the Facebook page. We have four open days a year where people can come check us out (and our bees) – maybe you want to help or run your own? If you’re an experienced beekeeper we’d love you to support others on their beekeeping journey.
We’re seeking people to try out beekeeping, grow pollinator gardens and support get-togethers. If you have an interest in bees, we want you. Your kids are welcome too (we do have a child’s bee suit).
