Project Pair Up

Project Pair Up is a matchmaker – for tupperware! We collect mismatching containers and lids from the community and endeavour to match them up. The matching containers are then given back to the community or donated. Our objective is to reuse and to divert waste from landfill. We lead by example to demonstrate that together as a community we can keep things useful and in circulation. With our effort, the community doesn’t have to buy new containers.
Our get-togethers could include…
- Washing, sorting and matching containers.
- Being at the Alphington market occasionally to promote and match up.
We’re looking for matches…
because currently we are one person and we need more help! The amount of containers and lids that are being donated are too many for me to handle. I have matched up 1000 containers and lids over a year but it’s a lot for one person. You can join me in the current activities, or you can collect, match and distribute containers at your own pace.
We meet up on…
Sundays at the Alphington Market but you could also pick a consistent time that suits you to do instead.
