If we were an animal…

Friends of Edgars Creek is a subgroup of Friends of Merri Creek. We were formed in 2007 to restore and protect Edgars Creek between Edwardes Lake and its confluence with Merri Creek. We conduct plantings of Indigenous vegetation in a manner sympathetic to the creek’s unique geology, Indigenous biodiversity and community, in order to increase the area’s biodiversity.
Our aim is to improve the environment for animals, plants and people by planting Indigenous vegetation along Edgars Creek, and to promote local community involvement into the restoration of the creek.
